A really sad commentary from what passes for a leader of the Republican Party. I guess good ol boy Newt wants to go back to having people of color in the back of the bus. I think a better idea would be to toss Newt under the bus.

Over 1100 comments to this story in the NYT since this morning and overwhelmingly they are all in agreement that Ms. Palin is an opportunistic, narcissistic, self promoting moron who panders to the lowest common denominator and preys upon the fears and prejudices of the electorate. I would imagine that John McCain has nightmares about unleashing this shrill harpie on the world.
